Online appointments through the Hawaii DMV are limited but some locations are available. For example, those in Honolulu can make an appointment with the AlohaQ portal. Else, give your local DMV a call, seeing if appointments are available, to save yourself some time.

Developer Gentry Homes have been busy bees in the Ewa Plain for the past few years in the construction and sale of the SeaBridge & Coral Ridge developments near the Honouliuli Wastewater Treatment plant in Ewa Beach. As those projects near the completion of sales, the developer has proudly announced their latest installment of Oahu new homes at Keali'i by Gentry on the Kapolei Golf Course, located at 94-5408 Kapolei Parkway. We will see a total of 66 brand new homes with every home consisting of 4-bedroom layouts spread over 3 different floor plans and Keali'i by Gentry prices in the $900,000's. There will as be a limited number of homes offered to eligible Affordable Housing purchasers.

The Neighborhood

Kealii homes are situated in the heart of the ever developing Kapolei and Ewa Beach region that has transformed over the last decade. Residential Developments like Hoakalei by Haseco and Hoopili by D.R. Horton Hawaii have brought or are still bringing thousands of new homes in Oahu as the island struggles with a burgeoning housing shortage.

Majority of these new Kapolei homes will have west-facing golf course frontage on the 17th & 18th holes which will provide for pretty impressive sunsets over the Kapolei Golf Course lawns and lagoons. Invest in some shade, as West Oahu is where the sun burns brightest!

Kealii homes will compete with the neighboring Hoopili Kapolei development which sits on the eastern side of Kualakai Parkway with plans to develop roughly 12,000 homes until approximately 2035. Kealii and Hoopili homes will be the largest benefactors of the Honolulu Rail which sees 3 rail stops within a 2-mile radius, as well as the new Kamakana Alii Mall that offers a plethora of retail and dining opportunities to the community. Enjoy premier proximity to a number of West Oahu golf courses, Take a 5 minute drive to White Plains Beach, join the Kroc Center fitness less than a mile away, or venture 10 minutes to the lagoons of the Ko Olina Resort Community!

Kealii Floor Plans & Features

All of Kealii's 66 homes for sale will be spread across the (3) Home types: the Luana, Pookela, and Haaheo models. Every home will include 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom layouts on lot sizes averaging 5,000sq, fully fenced yards, rain gutters, and more. While I'd still pick Hoopili homes over Kealii, it's important to note that Ho'opili does not come equipped with fully fenced yards, and the lot sizes are smaller than Kealii homes with an average around 4,000sq. Keep that in mind when considering your options. Kealii's closest Hoopili competitor will be the Olena home phase which offers a luxury product at a similar price point.

Standard options will include two-car garages, split air-conditioning, 9ft ceilings, smart home features, and energy efficient technology to reduce electricity costs. We will see spacious interiors of roughly 2,154sq with interior upgrade options like the following:

Some plans will feature lofts and downstairs master suites, lending themselves to multi-generational living dynamics and separation. There will be 56 homes with direct golf course frontage with price points in the $900,000+ range, but we will also see (8) homes with 3-4 floor plans offered in the mid $600,000's under Honolulu Affordable Housing Guidelines.
